Police in Meno. Falls seek suspect responsible for armed bank robbery

MENOMONEE FALLS (WITI) -- Officials in Menomonee Falls are seeking the suspect responsible for an armed robbery at the Tri-City Bank on County Line Road.

It happened on Wednesday, December 4th just before 10:30 a.m.

Police say their initial investigation reveals that black male subject with a light complexion, 25-35 years of age, with a medium build, approximately 5’8”-5’10” wearing a black jacket with dark blue denim jeans and black and white athletic shoes entered the bank.

Police say the subject displayed a small black semi-automatic handgun and demanded cash.

Police say the subject subsequently fled on foot in a southerly direction with an undetermined amount of cash.

It is believed that the subject may have been exposed to an exploding red dye pack and as such may have red dye on himself and/or his clothing.

Detectives from the Menomonee Falls Police Department, with the assistance of the FBI, are continuing to investigate this incident.
