Police: Brookfield man hurt in shooting during carjacking near Sherman and Concordia

MILWAUKEE -- A Brookfield man, 24, was hurt in a shooting near Sherman and Concordia Wednesday evening, July 17.

It happened around 7 p.m. during an armed robbery/carjacking, police said.

Police said the victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

The investigation into the circumstances leading up to this incident was ongoing.
