Police: 23-year-old man injured in shooting near 19th and Vienna Avenue

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police say a 23-year-old man was injured in a shooting that occurred on Tuesday night, August 25th.

It happened shortly after 8:00 p.m. near N. 19th Street and Vienna Avenue.

Police say the victim was shot in the leg while fleeing from an armed robbery. His injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.

He was taken to the hospital for treatment.

No one is in custody.
