Police: 1 shot, injured near 85th and Brown Deer Road; man taken into custody

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that happened near 85th and Brown Deer on Monday, May 29th.

It happened around 6:00 p.m.

Polices say a 27-year-old woman was shot by a 43-year-old man. The male suspect was taken into custody.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
