PICTURES: Humane Society takes in 22 dogs from Oklahoma

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- On Tuesday, May 28, the Wisconsin Humane Society received 22 dogs affected by the tornado in Oklahoma.

They will be given veterinary exams, behavior assessments, spay/neuter surgery, microchips and vaccinations before going into adoption.



Some may be available as soon as Thursday morning.

No holds are being taken for these dogs.

Those interested in adopting should keep an eye on the "Available Dogs" page. Some may be available at the Humane Society's Ozaukee Campus, as well.
