WEST BEND (WITI) -- West Bend police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Husar's House of Fine Diamonds on N. Main Street on Monday afternoon, December 29th. It happened around 3:50 p.m.

Police say five males entered the store just before 4 p.m. They were armed with hammers. Those hammers were used to smash a display case. The suspects then removed numerous watches and fled the store.

On Tuesday, December 30th, West Bend police released the following surveillance photos of suspects entering Husar's

Witnesses told police they saw the suspects enter a tan minivan and flee. One witness tells FOX6 News the whole ordeal scared him.

"All of a sudden a boss came in and said there were a bunch of cops outside with their guns drawn. We went out there. Cops told us to get back inside. Shouted, actually. We did. Within about 10 minutes we all came back," Jason Faas said.

The minivan was recovered by police a short time later in a parking lot in the 800 block of S. Main Street in West Bend.

Police say the minivan was stolen earlier Monday from another parking lot in West Bend.

No one was injured in the robbery, and no suspects are in custody.

"If someone's going to come in and do something, it's a good way to do it because nobody got hurt. My staff was all safe. My customers that were in the store were safe. It was very fast and we're very thankful for that," Mike Husar said.
