Sheriff's officials say a vehicle driven by a 34-year-old woman from the Genoa City area, identified as Deidra Dawley, struck a tree after the driver lost control. The driver was taken to the hospital via Flight for Life with serious injuries.

The passenger, 22-year-old Sarah Enders from the Village of Bloomfield , was pronounced dead at the scene.
