One killed in motorcycle crash on Racine Avenue near I-43

NEW BERLIN (WITI) -- New Berlin police are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred on Racine Avenue near I-43 Thursday, August 29th.

According to officials, police and fire responded to the single-vehicle accident around 6:22 p.m. Upon arrival, the New Berlin Fire Department began life-saving measures on the 46-year-old motorcycle operator.

The 46-year-old male was transported via Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital -- where he was later pronounced dead.

The cause of the crash is unknown and remains under investigation.
