One dead following motorcycle crash on NB I-43 near Howard

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- A motorcyclist crashed on I-43 northbound at Howard Avenue in the Plainfield Curve Tuesday morning, August 20th. The man, identified as 19-year-old David Dang of Oak Creek was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses said Dang was traveling at a high rate of speed and lost control of the motorcycle. He struck orange barrels and the median wall.

Milwaukee Fire Department medical personnel were on the scene within several minutes and Dang was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Sheriff’s Office is conducting the crash investigation.
