"I think we were the first house they knocked on," Adam Cutler said.

Cutler tells FOX6 News Kenosha police wanted to know if he heard anything out of the ordinary this weekend.

"It`s kind of a loud intersection," Cutler said.

The body was found in an alley near 13th Avenue and 31st Street. Authorities say the 34-year-old woman was discovered by a business owner going to work.

"There are no outward signs of a cause of death. How and why she was in the alley is really what makes it suspicious," Kenosha Police Chief John Morrissey said on Saturday.

Police were back out at the scene on Monday for further investigation.

Neighbors like Cutler are most interested in knowing whether foul play was involved in this case.

"'Especially since there is a young woman that lives next door and I have small children. It`s usually a decent neighborhood," Cutler said.

The victim's name hasn't been released.

We're told an autopsy has been completed -- and those findings could be released as soon as Tuesday.
