MPD: Vehicle strikes parked, unoccupied car near Cass and Lyon Streets; flees the scene

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating after a crash took place near Cass and Lyon Streets Thursday, November 10th.

Authorities say the crash occurred shortly before 6:00 p.m.

According to police, the person who reported the accident witnessed someone swerve and hit an unoccupied parked car. The driver of the striking vehicle then pushed the car out of the road and ran away.


Officials say since the driver of the striking vehicle fled the scene, it is unclear if anyone suffered injuries.

The investigation into this crash remains open.

Police have not released any further details.
