MPD seeking vehicle involved in weekend hit-and-run

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are seeking the public's help in looking for a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run that occurred early Sunday morning, February 9th in downtown Milwaukee.

Police say two pedestrians were injured in the hit-and-run incident that occurred near E. Wisconsin Ave. and N. Milwaukee Street. It happened just before 2:30 a.m.

The vehicle is described as a 2000 to 2007 Ford Taurus or Mercury Sable, four door, gray in color with unknown license plates.

Police say the vehicle should have damage to its hood and windshield.

The vehicle was last seen fleeing eastbound on E. Wisconsin Avenue.

Both pedestrians struck are currently hospitalized with serious injuries.
