MPD District 2 officers catch burglary suspect in the act
MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Officers from District 2 of the Milwaukee Police Department arrested a burglary suspect after he was seen inside the house that he broke into.
The officers responded to a home in the 2400 block of S. 18th Street at approximately 4:10 p.m. on June 6th after a neighbor noticed a subject break into a nearby home.
Upon their arrival, officers saw two windows that were smashed open and the suspect exiting a window from the second story.
The suspect jumped off the roof and was taken into custody.
The suspect, 27-year-old Anthony Gbur of Milwaukee, is now facing a felony count of Burglary.
If convicted, Gbur could be sentenced to more than 12 years in prison.
