MPD: 23-year-old man shot, injured near 26th & Lisbon; no one arrested

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that happened around 12:10 p.m. on Friday, May 20th near 26th and Lisbon Avenue.

Police say a 23-year-old Milwaukee man was shot during what was believed to be an attempted armed robbery.

Further circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear due to the victim being uncooperative.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of what is believed to be a non-life threatening injury.

MPD continues to search for the suspect(s) responsible.
