More gun violence: Three people shot in two separate incidents in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE -- Three people were shot and wounded in two separate incidents in Milwaukee early Sunday, August 16th.

Around 2 a.m., police were dispatched to the neighborhood near Cesar Chavez Dr. and Pierce St. for a report of a shooting. Two women, ages 34 and 29, suffered non-life threatening injuries and are being treated at a hospital. Investigators say there was some type of altercation or argument at a bar near the intersection. As the two victims exited the bar, an unknown person fired shots -- and the victims were struck. The victims do not appear to be the intended targets. There are no suspects in custody at this time.

Earlier in the morning, a 51-year-old man was shot and wounded near 31st and Galena on Milwaukee's north side. Police say this incident appears to be related to prostitution or robbery. There are no suspects in custody at this time.
