Milwaukee police seek to identify armed robbery suspect



MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee Police are asking the public to help identify an armed robbery suspect who is accused of robbing the Bank Mutual at 8050 W. Capitol Drive on March 6th at approximately 10:20 am.

According to police, the suspect entered the bank and presented a note to the teller that instructed her to hand over the money in her drawer. The note implied that the suspect was armed and that he would shoot.

During the robbery, the suspect held his left in his jacket pocket implying he had a weapon. The bank teller handed over the money and the suspect fled in a gray SUV.

The suspect is described as a black male, between 30-35 years-old, 6'-6'2" tall, with a heavy build, medium-dark complexion, a beard and mustache. He was wearing black sunglasses with black lenses, a black puffy three-quarter-length winter jacket with the hood up, blue jeans, and black shoes with white soles.
