Milwaukee police seek strong armed robbery suspect

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are asking for your help in solving a strong armed robbery. The incident happened just after 11 a.m. on April 3rd near 55th and Center.

A female suspect entered a car and took a purse from an 84-year-old Milwaukee woman. Inside the purse was the victim’s credit card that was used within minutes of the crime at a business near 60th and Silver Spring Drive.

The surveillance pictures show the suspect using the credit card at the business and the suspect entering a green 4-door vehicle.

The suspect is described as a female, black, between 25-35 years-old, 5’5”-5’7” tall, with a medium build, medium complexion and hair in a ponytail. She was last seen wearing a purple and black scarf, a black waist-length coat, and light-colored pants.
