Milwaukee police search for man who robbed US Bank branch

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are searching for a man who robbed the US Bank branch located at Howard and Howell on the city's south side.

The robbery happened at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, September 25th -- just after the bank's doors opened.

Police say the suspect walked up to a bank teller and told her, "This is a robbery." He also demanded that she put money in a folder. The teller complied with the demands and the suspect fled.

Investigators describe the robbery suspect as a male, black, who was wearing a tan fisherman's hat, glasses, a pullover and shorts. He had light, facial hair and a goatee.
