Milwaukee police scene near 15th and Hauser; garage searched

There was a large police presence at the garage of a home near 15th and Hauser in Milwaukee on Monday, April 20, that involved a skid-steer loader and a DPW truck.

Milwaukee police called in heavy construction equipment as they executed a search warrant on Milwaukee's north side on Monday, April 20.

What we know:

After hours of investigating, police opened up in an alley near 15th and Hauser.

Officers have taped off the garage where FOX6 saw them digging a hole inside — a couple of feet deep. Police also dug a hole in the backyard.

Milwaukee police were there for the better part of the day, digging into the ground of this property. The Department of Public Works assisted at the scene.

Property records show this home is owned by the former wife of Michael Lock. Lock lived there in 2007 and is now serving two life sentences in prison for homicides.

At this time, police have not said if today's search is related to Lock or the current owner.

Court records show police also searched this home back in January for weapons.
