Milwaukee police: Officers spot stolen vehicle which leads to pursuit, crash

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a serious motor vehicle crash that officials say was caused by a vehicle fleeing from police officers.

The crash occurred at the intersection of 30th and Locust around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, May 14th.

Officials say the fleeing vehicle was taken in a robbery on Friday, May 13th. Officers spotted the vehicle and attempted to stop it when it fled -- and later crashed.

Several people were injured in the crash. All the injured individuals were taken to hospitals where they are being treated for minor to serious injuries.

The suspect in the fleeing vehicle was arrested on the scene.
