Milwaukee police need your help to identify bank robber



MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee Police are asking for the public's help to identify the man who robbed the US Bank branch near Wisconsin and Plankinton Avenues in Milwaukee. The crime was committed just before 1 p.m. on Friday, February 8th.

The suspect approached a teller with his right hand inside his jacket implying he had a weapon. He stated, "This is a robbery. Open your top drawer." The teller, fearing for her safety and the safety of others, handed over the money.

The robber is described as a black male, 30 to 35 years old, 5'7" to 5'10", with a stocky build, and medium to dark complexion. He was wearing a black knit hat and black zip-up jacket.

The suspect in this robbery could be connected to the armed robbery at the Associated Bank, 200 E. Wisconsin Avenue, on February 6th.
