Milwaukee police need help to identify serial bank robber



MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee Police are seeking the public’s help in attempting to identify and apprehend a suspect responsible for three bank robberies in the Milwaukee area.

Incident #1: April 1, 2013. The suspect committed an armed robbery at the PNC Bank located at 5216 West Capitol Drive.  The suspect entered the bank shortly after noon and handed a demand note to the teller that implied that he had a gun and that he wanted money.

Incident #2: April 4, 2013. The suspect attempted an armed robbery at the TCF Bank located at 4110 North 76 Street.  The suspect entered the bank shortly before noon and handed a demand note to the teller that implied that he had a gun and that he wanted money. The teller did not comply and the suspect left the bank without obtaining any cash.



Incident #3: April 4, 2013. The suspect committed an armed robbery at the Guaranty Bank, located at 10380 W Silver Spring Drive. The suspect entered the bank shortly after noon and handed a demand note to the teller that implied that he had a gun and that he wanted money. The teller, fearing for her safety and the safety of others in the bank, handed over money.

The suspect is described as a black male, 25-30-years-old, 6’1″ to 6’2″ tall, 200 pounds, dark complexion,  black hair, brown eyes, medium build, mustache and beard.

He is possibly wearing a combination of the following clothing: dark blue or black baseball cap with white vertical stitching, dark blue or black hooded sweat shirt, dark blue or black pants, black tennis shoes with white stripe, square patterned cotton jacket, large round sunglasses with a silver or gold frame, a dark skullcap, a white dress shirt with a black tie, dark pants, tan shoes, and dark gloves.
