Milwaukee police: Motorcyclist seriously hurt after collision with car

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a serious collision between a car and a motorcycle on the city's northwest side that happened on Sunday evening, May 29th.

The collision happened just before 9:30 p.m. near 76th and Villard. Officials say a motorcycle was traveling north when a vehicle made a turn in front of the motorcycle. The motorcycle struck the vehicle, ejecting the rider.

The motorcycle rider, a 46-year-old man, received serious injuries. He was taken to a hospital.

Officials say the driver of the vehicle remained on the scene -- and was arrested.

There were no passengers in the car or on the motorcycle.
