Milwaukee police investigating death of infant on city's south side

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Milwaukee police are investigating the death of a one-and-a-half-month-old girl on the city's south side.

The Medical Examiner’s Office was called to a home near 8th and Hayes on Wednesday morning, May 27th. Initial reports indicate the infant was in a safe sleep environment.

Officials say the death does not appear suspicious at this time.
