Milwaukee police investigating death of infant on city’s northwest side

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating the sudden death of an infant on Milwaukee’s northwest side.

District Four officers responded to the area of N. 58th Street and W. Green Tree Road around 7:35 a.m. on December 11 after a 4-week-old boy was found unresponsive.

Despite life-saving efforts, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

MPD continues to investigate as the Medical Examiner’s Office determines a cause of death.
