Milwaukee police investigate serious crash near I-43 and North Avenue

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a serious crash that happened around 11:15 p.m. on Monday, December 21st.

Police say a 2004 Honda Accord LX traveling at a high rate of speed rolled over on N. Lindsay Street near W. Garfield Avenue, collided with a fence, and came to rest in a grassy area near I-43.

Shortly after the crash, MPD was notified by a local hospital of a 25-year-old man who had been dropped off after the crash.

The man is currently hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

MPD is working to determine if the man was the driver of the vehicle or a passenger.
