Milwaukee police ID homicide victim, investigate shootings
MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police have identified the victim of a fatal shooting near North and Hubbard on Saturday, October 26th. 38-year-old Michael Terry was shot and killed around midnight. There are no suspects in custody.
Milwaukee Police are investigating three other shootings that happened late on Sunday, October 27th.
The first happened near 16th and Atkinson around 8:20 p.m. A 46-year-old Milwaukee man was shot on a sidewalk during an argument. The victim was conveyed to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening injury. The victim has a lengthy arrest record including for disorderly conduct, recklessly endangering safety, resisting an officer, issuing worthless checks, and child abuse. The victim is not cooperating with the investigation and there are no suspects in custody.
Police say another shooting happened near 6th and Locust around 8:40 p.m. Sunday. A 23-year-old Milwaukee woman was shot outside of a residence. The victim was conveyed to a hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening injury. Detectives continue to investigate the motive and there are no suspects in custody.
Finally, officers are investigating a shooting that happened near 41st and Morgan at about 11 p.m. on Sunday. A 24-year-old Milwaukee man with a lengthy arrest record, including for armed robbery, drugs, and burglary, was shot in his car while in an alley behind his apartment. The victim conveyed himself to a hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening injury. There are no suspects in custody.
