Milwaukee police: District 5 temporarily closed Tuesday night after bomb threat

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a bomb threat that occurred Tuesday, June 16th at the District 5 building.

According to police, at approximately 9 p.m. an anonymous male subject called in to the Technical Communication Division and threatened to blow up District 5.  The district was temporarily closed to the public so that a thorough search could be conducted.

Once the search was complete and the district was deemed safe, it was re-opened to the public.

Police personnel are continuing the investigation in an attempt to identify the individual who made the threat.
