Milwaukee police blocked off MLK near Locust to investigate suspicious package

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police blocked off a portion of MLK Drive near Locust Street Monday morning, June 1 to investigate a suspicious package.

Police said around 10:30 a.m., a suspicious bag was located near a pole.

An investigation revealed the bag did not contain any explosive devices -- and was simply left abandoned.
