Milwaukee police ask for help to identify bank robbery suspect



MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are asking for the public's help to identify an armed robbery suspect who is accused of robbing the North Shore Bank at 7927 W. Capitol Drive on March 24th.

According to police, the suspect entered the bank around 10 a.m., approached the teller, presented a demand note, and verbally demanded money. The suspect implied he had a weapon by keeping his right hand inside his hooded sweatshirt.

The suspect fled on foot southbound from the building into an alley.

The suspect is described as a black male, between 19-23 years-old, 5'7"-6' tall, with a thin face.

He was last seen wearing a baseball cap with a red and orange brim, a zip-up hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, and dark blue jeans with shiny design patterns on both rear pockets.
