MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police arrested four suspects and recovered two guns after a carjacking on the north side.
Officers responded to the area near 20th and Clarke around 8:40 p.m. on January 24th and were met by the victim, a 44-year-old Milwaukee woman. The victim had left a nearby business and was waiting by her car when a suspect, armed with a handgun, demanded the keys to her car, a 2010 Cadillac STS. The suspect then fled from the scene in the car.
The Cadillac STS was located around 10:25 p.m. near 20th and Chambers and officers saw a suspect enter a nearby house.
The suspect, a 16-year-old Milwaukee male, was taken into custody for armed robbery. Officers also arrested three other suspects inside the house, a 17-year-old male, a 21-year-old man, and a 37-year-old woman, on various warrants. The officers found two guns, a short barrel shotgun and a .22 Ruger semi-automatic that was used in the robbery, inside the home.
MPD will present this case to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days for charges.
