Milwaukee man shot, wounded after attempted robbery by two guys on bikes

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting which happened near 2nd and Chambers on the city's north side late Friday night, July 18th.

Officials say just after 11:30 p.m., a 25-year-old Milwaukee man walking down the street was approached by two individuals on bicycles. They demanded money at gunpoint. The victim fled on foot but was shot as he ran away.

The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment.

At this time there are no suspects in custody.
