Milwaukee police investigate assault in parking garage
There was a police presence at MacArthur Square parking garage in Milwaukee on Monday morning, May 18.
MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee police are investigating a battery that occurred in the MacArthur Square parking garage on Monday morning, May 18.
What we know:
According to the Milwaukee Police Department, officers were dispatched to the scene around 6:30 a.m. for reports of an assault.
Police said the victim, identified as a 34-year-old, encountered a suspect in the parking structure trying to enter vehicles. The suspect then battered the victim.
The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The suspect, a 32-year-old man, was later arrested in the vicinity.
