Milwaukee house under renovation goes up in flames

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee firefighters battled a fire at a home near 3rd and Maple on the city's south side late Friday night, June 28th.

The firefighters were called to the home around 11:30 p.m. -- the building was unoccupied because it was apparently under renovation.

Investigators say the fire started on the second flood of the building and spread to the attic. There was extensive damage -- it might be a total loss.

Investigators are now trying to determine the cause of the fire.
