Milwaukee hospitality makes H-D visitors feel welcome

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Hundreds of Harley-Davidson enthusiasts are visiting Milwaukee for the very first time to celebrate the 110th Anniversary, and most agree they can't get enough of the fun atmosphere and camaraderie.

Other riders make the reunion trip back every five years. Many say while Harley brings them in, it's the city's hospitality that keeps bringing them back.

"Fantastic, great welcome. Especially when they know we've come so far -- very welcoming," said Peter Bruce, who made the trip from Singapore.

Dave Schulze from Noosand, Australia, a resort town famous for its hospitality, is contemplating moving to Milwaukee for a better economy.

"I'm originally from Sheboygan but spent the last 20 years in Australia. You come back to the best," said Schulze.
