Milwaukee fire officials respond to two-alarm blaze near S. 4th & Lapham

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee officials responded to a two-alarm fire in a pair of homes near S. 4th and Lapham Boulevard Wednesday afternoon, March 16th.

According to the Milwaukee Fire Department, the fire was called in around 4:30 p.m.

Officials say the fire was originally a one-alarm fire but was bumped up to two alarms after it spread to another home.



As of 5:45 p.m., the Milwaukee Fire Department had the fire under control, but crews stayed at the scene to do second and third searches of the homes.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
