Milwaukee Co. committee okays Park East Square project

MILWAUKEE -- A project slated for Milwaukee's Park East corridor cleared a new hurdle Tuesday morning, June 26th.

The Milwaukee County "Economic & Community Development Committee" approved a proposal from Park East Square, LLC. The project will jump start development in the old Park East corridor.

A statement from Milwaukee County Board Supervisor Michael Mayo said the proposal will create hundreds of jobs and put men and women from the 7th District to work.

The Milwaukee County Board will vote on the project on Thursday, June 28th.
