WAUKESHA (WITI) — 34-year-old David Trejo Miguel, the Waukesha man facing multiple charges for allegedly sexually assaulting a child, pleaded not guilty and waived his right to a preliminary hearing Friday, April 5th. Miguel is bound over for trial.

Miguel is charged with the following: Repeated sexual assault of a child, sexual assault of a child under 16 years of age, and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a child.

The criminal complaint against Trejo Miguel indicates on Saturday, March 23rd,  police were called to the defendant’s home because the parents of one of three teenage girls who had been at the home were concerned for the well-being of another one of the girls.

The complaint says Trejo Miguel “admitted he did provide a twelve-pack of hard lemonade to the girls and also provided them with marijuana to smoke. He also provided a glass pipe to smoke the marijuana from.”

When questioned about inappropriately touching one of the girls, the complaint says Trejo Miguel “stated he only poked her on the forehead.”

If convicted, Trejo Migeul faces up to 40 years in prison plus $100,000 in fines. He is due back in court on Thursday, March 28th.
