MFD: 2 people safely escape house fire near 24th and Nash

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee officials responded to a fire near 24th and Nash Thursday evening, April 26.

According to the Milwaukee Fire Department, two people were able to get out of the home safely.

Fire officials opened the roof to make sure there is no additional "pockets" of fire.

The cause remains under investigation.
