Mess on the freeway: Crash closes lanes on I-94 during rush hour
MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office says a crash involving four vehicles caused big backups on I-94 EB near Highway 100 during rush hour on Wednesday, May 14th.
The crash involved a box truck, a pickup truck, a van, and a car.
Fire Department officials had to extricate a woman from one of the vehicles.
She was taken to the hospital -- along with a man who was in one of the vehicles.
The condition of those injured is unknown at this time.
The Sheriff's Office says there was never a full freeway closure -- but deputies did pair down traffic to one lane at times as they worked the crash scene.
The Wisconsin DOT reported delays in excess of six miles as a result of this crash.
