Medical examiner investigates death of 2-year-old; 3rd to die in 10 days in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office is investigating the death of a two-year-old which happened Thursday night, August 25th on N. 13th Street in Milwaukee.

Officials say the child was found unresponsive after being put down for a nap by his mother.

Lifesaving efforts by Milwaukee Police and Fire personnel were unsuccessful and the child died on scene.

The investigation is in its early stages, and no additional information has been released at this point.
