ME releases report on two boys killed in crash near 11th & Capitol

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office has released its report following the death of 19-year-old Tremell Jackson and 17-year-old Tre’von Jackson. The two boys died Sunday evening, April 14th following a traffic accident near 11th and Capitol.

According to the Medical Examiner's report, Tremell lost control of the vehicle while traveling at a high rate of speed and struck a tree. Witnesses put the speed close to 100 mph.

After striking the tree the vehicle broke in two -- with the front half wrapping around the tree. The Medical Examiner's report indicates Tremell was thrown from the vehicle while Tre'von was pinned between the tree and the vehicle.

According to the report, Capitol Drive is flat and open in the area where the crash occurred and there would have been no obstructions to vision. Additionally, the pavement was dry and in good repair.

According to the Medical Examiner's report, Tremell and Tre'von had no known medical problems and took no medications. According to family, neither teens drank alcohol or used drugs.

According the the Medical Examiner's Office, the immediate cause of death for both Tremell and Tre'von was multiple blunt force injuries.
