Man shot Thursday night while standing on his own front porch

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police say a 52-year-old man was taken to the hospital after he was shot and injured in the 600 block of W. Chambers Street.

It happened around 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 24th.

Police say the man was standing on his own front porch.

Police say the victim has been less than forthcoming with his statements about what happened.

He was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries -- but is expected to survive.
