Man seriously injured in two-vehicle crash in Waukesha

WAUKESHSA (WITI) -- The Waukesha Police Department and the Waukesha Fire Department responded to the scene of a two-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning, February 18th. One of the drivers had very serious injuries.

The crash occurred around 1:35 a.m. on Meadowbrook Road (County Highway TT) between Northview Road and Coldwater Creek Road.

According to officials, the lone 28-year-old male occupant of a minivan had non-life threatening injuries.  He was transported to Waukesha Memorial Hospital where he was treated.

He voluntarily submitted to a blood sample. It is believed that he was not impaired.

The lone 26-year-old male occupant of a compact car had to be extricated from the vehicle.  He was later transported to Froedtert Hospital for immediate medical treatment.

The investigation is ongoing.  Both vehicles were totaled.  There were no other direct witnesses to the crash.

The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
