Man attempting to repossess car is shot, wounded on Milwaukee's south side

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- A 28-year-old Milwaukee  man who was attempting to repossess a car was shot and wounded on Thursday morning, November 13th.

Police say the shooting happened on S. 5th Pl. just north of Howard Ave. around 10 a.m. The victim was attempting to repossess the suspect’s car when a struggle ensued.  The suspect, a 37-year-old Milwaukee man, fired a handgun and the victim suffered a graze wound.

The victim drove himself to the hospital for treatment.

The suspect remained at the scene where he was taken into custody.
