Luis Perez pleads not guilty in fatal hit-and-run

MILWAUKEE -- Luis Perez pleaded not guilty Thursday, June 14th in a fatal hit-and-run that killed 25-year-old Gilbert Vazquez.

According to the criminal complaint in the case, Perez told his ex-girlfriend that Vazquez jumped in front of his car, and he got scared and fled the scene.

Perez waived his right to a preliminary hearing Thursday, and his case will go to trial.
