Loved ones remember young man gunned down at his home: "All this violence really needs to stop"
MILWAUKEE -- A murderer is on the run -- and a victim's family is looking for answers. 31-year-old Travis Williams was gunned down on Saturday, April 30th near 64th and Bobolink, and his loved ones now want to know why a disagreement had to escalate, and a life had to be lost.
"All this violence just really needs to stop. It`s sad," Cheridy Marshall said.

"My baby hurt. I have to be strong though," Marshall said.

"He loved his daddy so much. He was a good father. He always took care of my other kids. I`m going to miss him," Marshall said.

Travis Williams was a father of four, and loved by many.
"It hurts so bad. My brother is gone. I ain`t going to hear his voice. I aint going to see him smile," Diamond Williams, Travis Williams' sister said.
"He was joyful person. A happy boy. Strong-hearted. He kept a smile and he was always trying to learn. He was always trying to evolve himself. Whoever did this -- you took a good man. You took a spirited person," Lester Washington, Travis Williams' father said.
Loved ones said Williams was shot during a disagreement with someone he knew.

"I miss him so much right now. I feel his spirit -- but God gave him a better place. But we know this much -- Milwaukee police going to take care of their business. I have faith in them," Washington said.
As police seek the shooter, and family members encourage that person to turn themselves in, a vigil was held in Williams' honor on Sunday evening at 64th and Bobolink.
