Lawsuit between Sheriff Clarke, Milwaukee County over

MILWAUKEE -- A lawsuit between Milwaukee County and Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke is now officially over.

The County took the action after Sheriff Clarke fought layoffs of 48 deputies.

Last month, the sheriff rescinded his December order for the deputies to return to work.

Tuesday, March 6th, a judge said the case is closed.
