Latest: Identification of man's body found along Kenosha shoreline pending tests

KENOSHA -- Kenosha County detectives say positive identification of a man's body that was discovered on the Kenosha shoreline is pending further tests.

A resident along Sheridan Rd. discovered the body on the Lake Michigan shoreline shortly after 8 a.m. on Sunday, November 1st. He immediately notified authorities.

Officials say the victim is believed to be a Caucasian man. No foul play is suspected at this time and there were no signs of trauma to the body.

The City of Kenosha Police Department is assisting in this case as part of an ongoing missing person case in their jurisdiction.
