Latest: Armed, suicidal domestic violence suspect taken into custody near 64th and Hope

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police say an armed, suicidal domestic violence suspect is in custody following a heavy police presence near 64th and Hope Tuesday, March 17th.

Police were called out to the scene around 4:00 p.m.

It was believed the suspect was alone in a home in the area, and police were working towards a safe resolution.

No injures were reported from the scene.
